Many events can help with stress, boredom among student body

Ottawa University is a very eventful campus.

I like the fact that this school generally always has some sort of entertainment for the students. There is usually something going on at least once a week.

For example, we have only been back in school for two weeks, and already there has been an event called Extreme Domination.

Several big screens were set up in the cafeteria for us to play almost any video game we wanted.

Also, there was the Blizzard of Bucks, a game show in the cafeteria.

One Sunday of every month there is a free movie night for all OU students.

It is almost impossible for me to make it to all the fun events that are happening from time to time, but I have not missed a movie night yet.

Movie nights have always been my favorite. I mean who doesn't enjoy a free movie with a free drink and free popcorn to add to it?

I guess you could say that I have made movie night a priority of mine. I feel that it is a good thing to do when I need a study break, but I never take a study break since I always have homework to do.

Somehow I just can't seem to turn down movie night. It is also a great date night too, I never go to movie night without my date, Nino Straub. Since I have been here at OU, Nino and I have made it "our thing" to go to movie night every time if possible.

One of the things that I hope to see again was the Extreme Domination. I really wanted to participate in this event more than I did. Unfortunately I was too busy with work and classes the day it happened. However, I did get to play a quick game of Wii bowling against my friend Elika Liftee. Of coursem I won because I rock at Wii.

This happened while I was on my lunch break which was only about half an hour. I had a total blast while I was there and I did not want to leave. I still would have had even more fun if I got to play Just Dance 2. That is my favorite game at the moment!

I got this game for Christmas last year. I have never been the type to play or even enjoy video games, but since I have played this game I have started to play other games and now I love them!

Here at Ottawa University I had the chance to play this game and just about any other game I wanted to play on a huge screen. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time so I hope to see this event happen again.

I feel like Ottawa University does a great job when it comes to keeping their students entertained. I think that this helps reduce the amount of stress and boredom in many students.

I am always wanting to go out and have a good time, but as a college student I always have some homework to do, and I hardly ever have any money to spend on going out.

With the events that happen on campus I don't need money and I don't have to go very far to have fun. This is one of my favorite things about going to school at Ottawa University; there is always something to do.
