Questioning God’s validity
When school first started I had many doubts and questions about my faith in God.
My doubts would only grow when I was enrolled into a gospels class the first week of school.
The class rose my eye brows as to where there really a God or not.
I have asked myself many times: how do you believe in someone or something you have never seen?
I made an assumption that the entire class would feel the exact way I did.
Later I would learn that everyone in the class basically had different beliefs when it came to the gospels and God himself.
There was one topic that set heavy on my mind throughout the class.
That topic was: if the word of God is within the Bible, and the Bible has been written over and over, how could it be believable?
Even in a game of telephone, the content or basis of the conversation changes as it is passed on from person to person.
Did the Bible lose some of its meaning or content after being written over and over by so many different people?
These are questions I have yet to receive any answers to.
Eventually I will have to search within myself and find these answers.
And even though the answers that I will come up with may not be 100% correct, I will just have to live with them and believe what I feel is right.
While I search within myself I will ask the God that so many pray to to help me to find my way through my doubts.
I will not let others' beliefs influence mines. So many might think I don't believe in God, but that is not correct.
I believe in a higher power, but at times, like any other human being, I need clarification.
