Spring Events
Just like your grandma says, if you leave this house hungry it's your own fault. So if you leave Ottawa University bored, it's your own fault.
Between student activities and special events by Campus Activities Board, Student Affairs and your RAs, there are countless opportunities to have fun and meet new people. Not only will you be having fun, but many events will give you the chance to win valuable prizes. Keep a lookout for table tents, flyers and TVs around campus for reminders.
While many events have already passed as the school year got back into swing, there are still two student activities left in the month of January. Chris Jones, the hypnotist, will be here on Jan. 21. And you can’t miss the caricature artists on Jan. 24.
February is the month to be here, as student appreciation week kicks off on Feb. 12 with free movie night, followed by Stuff-A-Bear, student photo booth, Subway night, free T-shirts and the chance to make wax hands.
As if student appreciation week is not exciting enough, OU is bringing a comedian to town the week prior to it and bongo ball the week after.
During the months of March and April the calendars fill with game shows, open mic/coffee nights and laser tag. Lastly, O-Fest kicks off on April 21 and runs through April 22.
