40 Kinda Productive Ways to Procrastinate
As finals are upon us, there is less and less time to get organized and to begin studying to avoid the haven’t-slept-in-days eye twitch. But the reality is that many of us will end up waiting until the last moment. In order to make the most of your time, I have compiled a list of the most productive ways to procrastinate:
- Take a shower.
- Wash dirty laundry.
- Fold clean laundry.
- Take a run.
- Adopt a pet.
- Brush your hair.
- Take the pet from number five for a walk.
- Cook a balanced breakfast.
- Clean the kitchen after cooking breakfast.
- Attempt to feed your roommates/neighbors/pals breakfast.
- Make a to-do list.
- Pack for the trip home.
- Watch an entire series on Netflix within 48 hours.
- Clean out your closet.
- Look up movie times.
- Take a long nap (it is well deserved).
- Extra points if you watch a movie while accomplishing number fourteen.
- Start a blog.
- Calculate the lowest score possible you would need on the final to maintain the grade in the class.
- Buy a coloring book and a pack of coloring utensils.
- Sweep under any rugs in the place you reside.
- Write a wish list.
- Brainstorm topics for your new blog.
- Brew a pot of coffee or tea.
- Draft an email prompting the cancelation of finals.
- Rather than sending the email to the school, send to pals and hope it goes viral.
- Make the bed you napped in (see number sixteen).
- Write thank you notes to anyone who has held a door for you in the past semester.
- Search Pinterest for fun new crafts, recipes, make-at-home tutorials and workouts.
- Tweet about your new blog.
- Feed one of the many campus cats.
- Go to the library and make a quick round of high fives with the people who are actually studying.
- Find the matches to all your stray socks.
- Give a pal a back massage.
- Host an impromptu dance party (hello stress release).
- Bake a tasty treat.
- Have your blood pressure checked.
- Go grocery shopping.
- Search under the furniture for lost items or spare change.
- Take spare change to the Salvation Army donation buckets outside of Walmart.
