The game plan: how to prepare for a date
As the temperature starts to drop the number of cuddle buddy applications grow.
The drop in temperature tends to warm up one's sexual and even non sexual desires for the opposite sex. With holidays right around the corner everyone wants to find someone to enjoy them with. No one wants to be left kissing the bottle of eggnog on New Years, unless your an objectopheliac and are in love with an inanimate object which in that case, good luck to you and I don't think we can be friends.
With that being said I am pleased to announce that your savior has arrived and it will be posted in The Campus! The Game Plan will offer tips on how to get yourself ready for a date, ask a person out and even give you a date to take them on!
If this isn't convenient, then I don't know what is.
To start things off let's get down the 'nitty gritty'. It's time to shave those beards, get a haircut, shave those legs, and maybe even lose that weight you always said you were going to lose.
The Clean-up
Guys, most likely no one is going to say yes when asked out on a date if you look like Tom Hanks from cast away.
1. Shave/trim your beard and get a haircut. No girl wants to have to battle scraggly hairs with their lips and tongue mid kiss. That doesn't mean you can have a beard, it just means maintain it. Many girls love facial hair but what they don't like are beard rashes after kissing you. Be courteous either grow your facial hair or trim it so that it is soft and tamed. A haircut always looks nice as well, make sure to get this a week or two before you plan on face to face action so that it can grow on you. Girls this also pertains to you, even though you don't have a beard you should always shave your legs and any other necessary areas. Even if you plan on nothing happening, that rare chance that it does shouldn't be hindered because you feel like a cactus.
2. MANicures. Clip your finger and toenails guys. There is nothing shameful about caring how you look. You don't want to her to reject holding hands with you because your finger nails have the potential to be used as a weapon. Same for the toes if the night escalates you don't want to be embarrassed to take off your socks, leave no doubt's that you look good! Girls you should want guys to think that your hands match how good you look on a date.
3. Smell like a millionaire. According to Rachel Herz in an AskMen.com article, "Times have changed, and new studies show that your scent is actually what’s most important for attracting the opposite sex — more important than six-pack abs, a killer smile or an overflowing bank account." Make sure you shower, put on deodorant, and maybe spice it up with a nice cologne. Remember to not drench yourself in it, you want her to smell it not taste it.
4. Confidence is key. Always display confidence in who you are and what you are saying. Girls like confidence not cockiness. Just be proud of yourself and who you are, don't be the bad boy you see on tv who gets all the girls.
This process could take some time for a few of you so I'll leave you to it. Make sure you check out the next segment of The Game Plan to see what else you might need for your big date.
