Shea: Newest edition of Halo unrealistic
When the Halo games first came out, they were hugely popular.
Well you can say the same for the newest edition of the very likable video game series, Halo ODST. The newest Halo game is just like all of the other ones, very graphic and unrealistic.
If you are into shooting games that are based off of cartoon characters and where it takes what seems like 10 shots for someone to die, then you will get great pleasure out of this video game.
My friend bought Halo ODST the morning it came out. He was so excited so I wanted to see what all of the commotion and excitement was about. I began playing this game and realized that the game play was very fake and I thought the animations were poorly done.
All I could think about was all of the glitches that we found when playing the game. I wasn't a very big fan of these types of games to begin with but after playing it and watching my friends play, I find it hard to see a real reason as to why the love it so much. I am truly horrible when I play animated games, so I stick to my football, baseball and basketball games.
I have to give Halo ODST some credit as to why I could see somebody liking it. Playing online is a really cool feature that can be found throughout all of the Halo games.
I really enjoyed playing online against people all over the country because it is fun to talk to them through the microphone. You can find out where they are from, or plainly tell them how bad they are at playing Halo.
Halo ODST takes a lot of concentration and I just don't have that when playing a video game. So I didn't find Halo ODST a very good game for me to sit down and enjoy. If you like animated games where it is difficult to shoot the opponents and like really bad graphics, Halo ODST is the game for you.
