Harris: Action movie ‘Takers’ clear and simple film
‘Takers' is rated PG-13 and is an action adventure film that was released worldwide on Aug. 27.
The movie has an impressive lineup with some diverse all-stars; an ensemble cast which consists of rapper Clifford "T.I." Harris, singer Chris Brown, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen, Michael Ealy, Jay Hernandez and Matt Dillon.
This film is about a group of criminals known for pulling off the perfect bank robberies without leaving a trace of evidence for the police to even have a lead or clue of who it could be. They were professional thieves who laid low before they pull another job.
T.I. plays a gangster named Ghost who took the fall for the gang that he is involved with. He had just been released from prison and reveals his plan of a heist to his old crew, John (Walker), Gordon (Elba), A.J. (Christensen), Jake (Ealy) and his brother Jesse played by Brown who had some surprising and suspenseful scenes in the movie.
Brown had a lot of action during a scene where he was running from the cops. He was jumping high buildings, getting struck by many moving automobiles and he was also shot in the arm during the chase scene. There was also a scene that involved Ghost and John blowing up a very large street in mid-day.
The movie is dealing with one last proposition by Ghost. This offer involved way more money than they were used to getting away with. The thing about this particular heist was it was $20 million from a armored truck and it had to be completed in five days.
A tough detective named Jack who was played by Dillon interrupted the gangs streak of smooth successful heist with the help of his partner Eddie who was played by Hernandez. Jack was determined to bust the gang and solving the case.
If you're wondering if they call pull off the heist without being caught, go see ‘Takers' which is a very clear and simple film.
