Humm: Redbox most fun for price
In today's economy, there are very few things that you can pay a dollar for and get two hours of entertainment and enjoyment out of.
Redbox is the exception.
Having five locations within Ottawa, Redbox is the most feasible option for watching movies. Especially for OU students, considering there are two Redbox locations a few blocks away at Walgreens, two locations at Wal-Mart and one at McDonalds.
Though they don't carry every movie ever made, new releases and other popular movies are available. From comedy to horror and family movies to documentaries, they offer a wide variety of options.
Unlike subscriber programs like Netflix where you have to pay a specific amount of money per month, with Redbox, users only have to pay a dollar per night, all you need is a credit card.
Video stores are a dying breed. Blockbuster announced at the beginning of the year that they plan on closing up to ten percent of their stores in 2010. Because of new technology like Redbox, video stores are suffering and the technology is only going to be getting stronger. Plus, videos at a video store are much more expensive than paying one dollar a night.
Redbox is also convenient in the sense that you can get a Redbox movie in Lawrence and return it in Ottawa, or if you are traveling you could pick one up in California and return it in Wyoming.
We all want to do what is most convenient, especially when it comes to watching movies. Another reason Redbox is the best option is because you can reserve online.
At www.redbox.com, it offers customers the choice to reserve their movie and which location they want to pick it up at. You can pick a movie on their website and it will show the options of which locations it is available at in your area.
Redbox online also lets you watch trailers of some of the most popular movies they have at their locations. They are also interactive on Facebook, Twitter and they have an I-Phone application to download.
Cheap, quick and with a location near us, Redbox is the most feasible option.
