Frey: Campus life is what you make of it
Living in Ottawa can bring about different experiences.
You can Love it or Hate it. Life in Ottawa is all about what you make it.
As a member of several organizations on campus, I know for a fact that we are constantly trying to make Ottawa Life that much better.
If you just sit in your room, you won't be able to meet new people or have fun.
A lot of times we get stuck in our comfort zone, but if we step outside of that box we can have great experiences.
When I'm not doing homework, I get together with friends and have movie nights, go to the local park, play flashlight tag, and visit with my peers in the halls.
You can make a lot of life time friendships in your dorm, while playing pingpong or at programs put on by your Resident Assistants. There is always something happening on campus, just check your Ottawa Planner and e-mail.
Some school activities that I always enjoy are Bingo Night, Poetry Slams, ACE events, Athletic events, and of course FREE movie night.
We are surrounded by opportunities to have fun experiences on a daily basis, but as the cliché says: It's all about what you make it.
