The Newly Elected
Every school year, we as students get the opportunity to vote on those who will help make a difference in our school. These individuals make up the Student Government team, and their job is to take student suggestions and make changes on campus. In order for you as a student to reach out to the members of Student Government, you will need to know who these members are:
Student Body President - Dalton Sikes
Student Body Vice President - Reagan Lorey
Student Body Secretary - Jessamyn Mansfield
Student Body Treasurer - Brandon Tran
Freshman Class Representative - Chris Hanson
Sophomore Class Representative - Brooklin Mathers
Junior Class Representative - Macy Stewart
Senior Class Representative - Destini Salas
Brown Hall Representative - Brock Chapman
Bennett Hall Representative - Mackenzie Simmons
Martin Hall Representative - Darby Weidl
Off Campus Representative - Travis Alvis
At Large Representative - Jack Krueger
At Large Representative - Brody Burkholder
Dalton Sikes, student body president, says, “I am very excited to see that we have a great group of students willing to step into this leadership role and make a change.”
Some of these representatives have previously been on the Student Government team, however there are some new faces that are representatives.
Christopher Hanson, the newly elected freshman class representative, says, “I’m ecstatic to be part of a group of leaders and having the same objective of ameliorating Ottawa University for the young adults around the campus, and aiding in giving students a voice.”
Feel free to reach out to them if you have any concerns or ideas on what you want to see done around campus.
