Where can I work?
“Man, everything costs money, doesn’t it?”
“Seems like it. Too much money.”
“Maybe we should get jobs.”
“Yeah, but where? Nowhere is hiring.”
Nowhere is hiring because people tend not to look that hard; businesses don’t need to have a “Now Hiring” sign hung up in their window to be on the lookout for new employees. Job searching can be difficult, but don’t let it be that way.
Here are four places in Ottawa looking to hire new employees that are willing to work around college schedules.
-
Club Car Wash, 2230 S Princeton St.
Club Car Wash is located on the corner of S Princeton St. and 23rd St. This is a fast-paced work environment looking to hire new employees, especially preps. Pay is $12 an hour.

-
Walmart, 2101 S Princeton St.
Walmart is looking to fill many positions in their store, from cashier to stocker. Retail is fast-paced and will constantly keep you occupied. Your pay depends on what position you apply for.

-
PrimeTime Grille, 2204 S Princeton Circle Dr.
PrimeTime Grille is Ottawa’s favorite sports bar with something to offer for everybody, even a job. PrimeTime is looking for cooks, waiters/waitresses, hosts/hostesses and, for those over 21, bartenders. Your pay depends on what position you apply for.

-
Price Chopper, 120 E 19th St.
Price Chopper, similar to Walmart, is looking to fill many positions in its store, from cashier to stocker, even for attendants in its gas station. Your pay depends on what position you apply for.

Jobs are out there, you just have to figure out where you want to work and what you want to do.
