It’s our favorite time of the year, ladies! Yes, you know what I’m talking about. It’s the season to stunt and look fly. Fall Fall Fall! Bring out your sweaters, boots and cardigans, and work what your momma gave you. This season is filled with pretty colors and discounts. That’s right, I said discounts! Be sure to stop by your favorite stores to get new gear. Maurice’s has a lot of good clothing for the latest trends for the year. They also feature fashion in a range of different sizes, footwear and accessories. Maurice’s is open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. on Sundays. Not only is there Maurice’s but we also have Shoe Sensation. Must have those boots. The Pink Suitcase also has great pieces in store. Be sure to stop by and show love.

            Online Styles And Deals

Not only are there places in Ottawa for fashion, but you could always go to Lawrence or Overland Park to find many more retail stores. Online Shopping is always a good idea, too. There are many fashion lines that you could subscribe to for the latest trends and updates. There is Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Fashion Nova and JustFab. I can honestly say from my shopping experience, online shopping has always been a go-to for me, especially since being in college. JustFab and ShoeDazzle have amazing deals on boots and clothing. I would mostly suggest them just for shoes. If you subscribe now you will get your first boots for only $10. Most of the time if you shop online constantly, you’ll qualify for 20 percent discounts for every other purchase. Deals will definitely come your way. The best way to stay up to date on these fashion lines is through email. For example, just this week I have received emails from all of my online favorites. This past Tuesday, Charlotte Russe offered a 30 percent-off sale on shoes. I used to work there, and I know for sure that they have some really neat styles.

           Boots

Knee-high boots, combat boots and booties -- they all are a must. Black and brown (even tan) are the most important colors. Knee-high boots expanded wide throughout the U.S. last year and will continue to be a trend for many more. Combat boots have been around for a long time. They are literally a girls’ go-to for almost every outfit during the fall season. Be sure to get a pair. They are much needed. Booties are like a girl’s best friend. They aren’t too much or too little.

         Scarfs & Jackets

Scarfs, jackets and cardigans are now calling all our names. Fall isn’t just about being a girly girl. Sometimes I like to mix it up myself. One day I may want to wear a jacket or even hoodies with some combat boots. And then next day I might be a bit girly and throw on a scarf and my long comfy boots. It’s all your choice. Mix it up!

Now that you have more of a taste of the latest styles this year, you are definitely going to have a great fall season. Stay warm and strut your style. Remember this is our time, ladies. Make it count.
