Finals Week Activities
Since school is coming down to the nitty gritty and summer is around the corner, Campus Student Activities Board, or CAB, has planned an eventful week for students to get excited about. Throughout finals week there is an event every day to make the last week more bearable.
Starting Sunday, April 23, there will be a movie night at 10 p.m. at the local movie theater Crystal Plaza located on Main Street in Ottawa. The movies available for only Ottawa students are “Power Rangers” and “The Fate of the Furious.”
On Monday, April 24, there will be finals massages available to students in the Scherich Atrium located in the student union. The massages will be offered between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., giving students a fantastic way to take the load off and de-stress from reality for a couple minutes.
On Tuesday, April 25, is a late night breakfast in the Hetrick Bistro starting at 10 p.m. offering more than $2,000 in prizes. Students will have the opportunity to win prizes while eating delicious food served by university faculty and staff.
On Wednesday, April 26, there will be late night nachos where there will again be prizes raffled off to Ottawa University students. Late night nachos begins at 10 p.m. located in the Hetrick Bistro.
To finish off the finals week there will be late night wings at 10 p.m. located once again in the Hetrick Bistro. Come and enjoy bottomless wings from your choice of hot, mild, BBQ or plain. Oftentimes there will be TVs raffled off, however, that information has not been disclosed by CAB yet.
Don’t miss the last week of student activities, take a break from studying and enjoy all the awesome events that are available to you. You might even get lucky and win prizes that’ll take you right into the summer!
