MugShot Coffee, a local coffee shop in town, offers events to provide a cozy, laid back atmosphere for students to study in while sipping on delicious beverages. Located at 109 South Walnut, behind Main Street, MugShot Coffee provides a chance to get off campus during your vigorous hours of studying, while still preparing for finals.
Coffee and Cram will start Monday, Dec. 5, and it will last all week through Friday, Dec. 9. The promotion will take place during MugShot’s normal hours of operation, 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Students looking to study in a relaxed but different environment can receive bottomless cups of drip coffee for only $5 and bottomless cups of specialty coffee drinks for $8. Students can stay as long as needed and drink as many cups as desired.
On top of the bottomless coffee Monday through Friday, Campus Ministries has also partnered with MugShot Coffee to sponsor 50 percent off of all drinks on Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. only. This extends beyond coffee, to their smoothies and specialty teas. On Tuesday, the first 25 students to go to the shop from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. will receive a Braves Voucher for the Braves Fan Shop.
Aside from the special finals week events, students receive a discount throughout the year on all items and are encouraged to bring friends to study or just hang out. Punch cards are also available to receive free coffee after so many purchases. A variety of snacks and treats in addition to their tasty drinks, as well as free Wi-Fi, are all extra perks of visiting this eclectic coffee joint.
