Finals Week Preview

Monday (12/4)

  • Finals Massages – from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. release some stress with some pre-finals massages located in the Scherich Atrium.
  • Last Day of Classes – last time to get those important study questions in before finals begin on Wednesday. Also, the perfect time to sweet talk your professor if you are sitting on a borderline grade.
  • Late Night Wings – starting at 10 p.m. in the Hetrick Bistro, come get some free wings and enter in a chance to win some raffled prizes.
  • Pie Time – an event put on by OU’s optimist club taking donations benefitting less fortunate families in the community. Set for 10:20 p.m., pie time will showcase one faculty member and one student receiving a pie to the face depending on your designated donations.

Tuesday (12/5)

  • Study Day – also known as “Dead Day,” there will be no classes all day. Dead Day is intended for students to begin to cram for finals beginning the next day.
  •  Study Day Goodies – from 11 a.m.–3 p.m., take the 5 minutes to catch some free study day goodies in the student health center.
  • Late Night Breakfast – the most anticipated event of finals week begins at 10 p.m. in the Hetrick Bistro. Come get served some delicious breakfast food and test your luck on a large number of raffled gift cards and top-dollar prizes.

Wednesday (12/6)

  • Late Night Nachos – when that study hunger hits, come to the Hetrick Bistro at 10 p.m. for a short study break. Nachos will be served to your choice along with another opportunity to raffle your way to more prizes.

Friday (12/8)

  • Residence Halls Close – Bennett, Brown and Martin Halls officially close at 8 p.m. Be sure to cooperate with your resident assistants in an efficient manner in order to check out with ease.
  • Goodbye Fall 2017 Semester – say goodbye to friends and teammates as everyone takes a month off going their separate ways for the holiday/winter break. Come back well rested for Spring 2018 classes to begin on Jan. 8.
