The not-for-profit organization, Communities in Schools (CIS) of Ottawa, has scheduled their Color Craze run for May 30 at 9 a.m on Main Street in Ottawa, Kan. to raise money for their organization.
CIS has programs all across the United States. These programs aim to keep students in school. They do so by implementing certain activities and projects year round to keep students interested in learning, lowering their desire to want to drop out.
The Color Craze is a family friendly event and is an exciting way to support the organization as well as provide a fun activity for Ottawa’s community. Beginning and ending at Forest Park, participants will enjoy the view throughout historic downtown Ottawa. At various points throughout the course, colored powder will be thrown on participants.
Registration will cost $25 for adults and $15 for students 18 and under. White t-shirts will be provided if registration is completed by May 8.
Join Communities In Schools of Ottawa and color the path to success for local students.
